Steps to Prepare for Online Notarization:
Check for Witnesses
Look over your document to see if it requires witnesses. If so, have them ready for the online session or choose our on-demand witness option.
Upload Your Document
Upload the complete document (not just the signature page) as a .pdf or .docx file. If you don’t have it saved, scan and upload it using your phone.
Verify Your Identity
Have a valid, government-issued photo ID (like a driver’s license or passport) ready for the identity verification process. You will also need to answer Knowledge-Based Authentication (KBA) questions as an added layer of security.
Set Up Your Device
Use a computer, laptop, tablet, or cell phone with a webcam and microphone. Make sure you have a strong internet connection for a smooth session.
Start Your Session
Schedule your notarization or connect with an available notary instantly through the platform. Be sure to have your ID ready to go for verification.
