Generally, each notarial certificate the notary completes, for each signer, is one act. A document signed by two people who each need an acknowledgment is usually two acts.

The $25 fee for an online notarial act is capped by Florida law and enforced by our system. Any separate, legally permitted fee (for example, a distinct service authorized under Florida law) will be named, explained, and itemized before payment. We never relabel notarial charges as technology fees.
Payment is authorized before your session and captured according to the completed acts. If a notarization is declined or cannot be completed, the uncaptured amount is released or refunded according to our policy.
