Who performs the notarization

Your session is performed by a Florida-authorized online notary who is physically in Florida, using Florida law as the governing framework. TruvaLink Notary does not have notaries commissioned in Alberta.

Will my document be accepted?

Acceptance is decided by the party receiving your document, such as a county recorder, agency, court, bank, or foreign authority. We do not claim that every receiving authority must accept a Florida online notarization. Please confirm with the receiving party before your session.

Additional considerations for Canada

Canadian requests are supported only when our identity verification method supports your identification, Florida requirements are met, and destination acceptance has been assessed. Apostille or authentication, if needed, is a separate step from notarization. Cross-border data processing is described in our Privacy Policy.
